Chhath Puja Holiday 2024: With Diwali celebrations coming to an end, students now await the next holiday. Other than Diwali and the surrounding celebrations where schools were closed, the upcoming holiday is Chhath Puja where schools will remain closed in a few of the states in northern India.
Chhath Puja is widely celebrated in states like Bihar, Jharkhand, and UP. As per recent reports, Delhi CM Atishi has announced school holidays in the national capital on the occasion of Chhath Puja on November 7, 2024. Chhath Puja is widely celebrated in the state of Bihar. The state government has announced a four day holiday as part of the celebration in the state from November 6 to 9, 2024.
Chhath Puja Holiday: Schools Closed in Delhi
Delhi CM Atishi has announced holiday for schools on November 7, 2024 on the occasion of Chhath Puja as the festival is celebrated in NCT of Delhi.

Chhath Puja Holiday 2024: Schools Closed in UP
As per reports, schools in a majority of regions in Uttar Pradesh are expected to remain closed on November 7, 2024 on the occasion of Chhath Puja. A confirmation of the holiday will be provided by the state government soon.

As per reports, schools will remain closed in certain parts of Jharkhand on the occasion of Chhath Puja on November 7th. An official confirmation regarding the same is expected soon.
