UP School Reopening Update: As COVID-19 situation in the state continues to improve, the Uttar Pradesh State Government has given its go-ahead for reopening of Schools for All Classes. The latest order coming from Lucknow has confirmed that from Monday – 14th February onwards, Schools in UP will reopen for students of all classes i.e., from Nursery to Class 12. The order comes following earlier guideline of the state government which had permitted reopening of schools for students of senior classes; but now with the latest guidelines, schools for junior class students will also reopen from Monday. Reopening in line with COVID-19 Guidelines

While permitting relaxations in COVID-19 curbs and allowing reopening of schools for students of all classes, the state government has said that it will be carried out in line with the COVID-19 Guidelines. To ensure safe return of students back to campuses, school administrators have been asked to ensure that all COVID precautions are followed and ensure social distancing among students and teachers on campus. Students and teachers have also been directed to wear face masks at all times and follow proper hand hygiene in order to curtail spread of the contagion.

COVID-19 Safety Helpdesk

In addition to the following the precautionary guidelines, schools have also been asked to set-up COVID-19 Safety Helpdesks on the campus. Students who have any concerns regarding their safety or want to point out any challenges in terns of COVID-19 norms, can reach out to the helpdesk to highlight the same to the authorities. In response, authorities are expected to take prompt action to address these concerns and ensure that students are provided with safe place and environment for learning.
