UP School Holiday: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed all the district magistrates and police officials to announce a holiday on January 22, 2024, because of the Pran Pratistha programme. All schools and colleges shall remain closed on this day. Over 10 thousand VVIPs from the country and abroad are expected to attend the ceremony.

Ramlala Pran Pratistha on Jan 22; Dignitaries to Attend Ceremony
Ramlala Pran Pratistha will be organised on January 22, 2024, in Ram Temple located in Ayodhya. India’s Prime Minister, President, Chief Ministers, Governors, and other dignitaries from across the world will be present in the city for this programme. After consecration by PM Narendra Modi, the Ram temple will be opened for the devotees.
The Pran Pratistha ceremony will mark the installation of Lord Ram's idol in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
UP School News: Timings Changed Again
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Government has modified the school timings due to harsh winters again. As per the orders of the Directorate of Secondary Education, the secondary classes up to the 12th shall now operate between 10.00 and 3.00 PM instead of 8.50 AM to 2.50 PM earlier. The revised UP school timings shall continue until further orders. Uttar Pradesh school timings were also revised previously for some regions. According to the earlier order, classes from 1 to 8 were scheduled to be held between 10.00 AM and 3.00 PM in Ghaziabad and Mathura.
