MP School Timing Revised: The Madhya Pradesh state government has issued a notification regarding the change in school timings in the state. According to the notification issued, the revised timings will be followed for all schools until January 20, 2024. The state government has revised the school timings due to the cold weather. The state will not be extending the winter vacations for students.

MP School Revised Timings
The school timings have been revised in the state owing to the extreme cold weather conditions. As per the revised timings announced, schools functioning in the morning hours will begin from 10 am onwards. On the other hand, schools that are functioning from 10:30 am onwards will continue as per schedule.
Exams scheduled for students from classes 6 to 12 in this period will be conducted as per the timetable announced. The notification states that the revised timing is applicable for government and private schools in the state.
MP state education department in a post on social media stated that due to the outbreak of cold waves in the state, the state education department has changed the school timings until January 20, 2024. Schools will open from 10 am onwards as per the notification.
School Holidays Across Northern India
States in the northern region of the country have either announced winter holidays or extended the winter holidays taking into consideration the extreme cold weather and cold wave conditions. Punjab schools have announced a holiday for students from classes 1 to 10 until January 14, 2024.
