UP School Holidays: The list of school holidays in UP do not end with schools remaining closed for Diwali and Chhath Puja. After the celebrations, students anticipate upcoming holidays, as per the latest reports on school holidays in the state.
According to reports, the schools in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed on N, November 15, 2024, on the occasion of Kartik Purnima and Guru Nanak Jayanti and on N, November 20, 2024, as part of by-elections in nine assembly constituencies in the state.

An official notification regarding the upcoming school holidays has been issued by the state government. The UP government has announced a holiday for schools on November 15 on the occasion of Kartik Purnima and schools in nine assembly constituencies will also remain closed on November 20, 2024, due to by-elections.
It must be noted that the school holiday for November 20 will not be applicable across the state. Only those schools in the assembly constituencies where elections have been announced and voting will be conducted will remain closed.
Schools in Mainpuri, Kanpur city, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Phulpur, Mirzapur, Ambedkar Nagar, Aligarh and Muzaffarnagar districts will remain closed on November 20.
