UP Board Practical Exam 2024: According to recent updates, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has offered a second chance to UP board intermediate students who missed their class 12 practical exams. According to the latest notification, such students can now appear for the UP Board inter-practical exam 2024 tomorrow, February 16, 2024. 

According to UP board secretary Dibyakant Shukla, the UP board practical exams will be conducted tomorrow, for students who missed the exams which were conducted from January 25 to February 9, 2024. According to the report arrangements have been made similar to the main exams and the practicals will be conducted by examiners appointed by regional offices of the Council of Secondary Education. The exams will be conducted under CCTV surveillance. 

UP board is conducting the theory exams for Class 10 and 12 students from February 22 to March 9, 2024. Students appearing for the exams must check the exam day guidelines issued by the board before the exams. 

This year over 55 lakh students registered for the UP board 10th and 12th exams out of which 29 lak are high school students and 25 lakh are intermediate students. 

Measures to Curb Malpractices

UP board has implemented several steps to avoid malpractice during the exams. The board has introduced computerized logos, QR codes and specialised colour coding system on answer sheets. The QR codes have been introduced to avoid individuals pretending to be the candidate and appearing in the exam. 

The computerized identity cards with unique QR codes and serial numbers are for supervisors to cross-check the details. The same has been implemented to for better vigilance.

A special task force was deployed in 2023 to all centres to keep a check on malpractices. The state CM issued an instruction to take strict action against those caught.
