UP Board Exam 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is set to hold the UP Board Exam 2024 for class 10 and 12 students. The examinations will commence on February 22 and conclude on March 9, 2024. To prevent cheating and malpractices during the examination, UPMSP has implemented stringent measures for both students and invigilators.
This is the first time that the UP government will be giving ID cards to invigilators. These cards will feature unique QR codes and serial numbers. The ID cards will show the subject that the invigilator is qualified to teach preventing them from helping any student to cheat. Moreover, the number of examination centres has been reduced compared to previous years to ensure better monitoring and supervision of the examination process.
Stringent Measures By UPMSP For Board Exam 2024
In response to past incidents, UPMSP has put a comprehensive five-level monitoring system in place. The exam centres will be monitored from a central control room in Lucknow, as well as in the districts and five regional centres.
The authorities have directed all exam centres to install high-quality CCTV cameras by February 14, 2024. In case a school fails to comply with this directive, it may result in severe penalties, including the disqualification of the school from serving as an examination centre for up to three years.
Moreover, police personnel and Local Intelligence Units (LIU) are instructed to monitor the exam centres at all times. The question papers will be subjected to stringent camera surveillance. The Special Task Force (STF) will also be deployed to keep a vigilant eye on any activities related to cheating.
