UP Board 10th Exam 2024: Over 1.33 Lakh Students Absent, 4 Proxies Caught, Check Details Here

UP Board 10th Exam 2024: The UP Board class 10 exam 2024 are underway. The board conducted the class 10 math exams on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. According to data provided by UPMSP secretary Dibyakant Shukla, 1,33,945 students were absent in the shift 1 exam and 12,894 students were absent in the shift 2 exam.

Along with the absentees, the board has also reported 4 proxies. According to reports in the first shift of the exam, two proxies were caught in Gonda and one in Azamgarh and Shahjahanpur. Four examinees were also caught using unfair means.

UP Board is conducting the class 10 exams from February 22 to March 9, 2024. Approximately 29 lakh students are appearing for the UP board class 10 exams 2024. The exams are being held in two shifts from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and 2 Pm to 5:15 pm. 

The UP board class 10 math exams were conducted in the morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. The exams will conclude on March 9, 2024, with the Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Odia, Kannada, Kashmiri, Sindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Nepali papers in the morning session and Electrician paper in the afternoon session.

Over 3 Lakh Students Absent On Day 1

According to reports, A total of 2,03,299 (14 per cent) were absent in the first shift of the UP board exam on day 1 while 1,30,242 (19 per cent) were absent in the second shift. As per the total numbers available, 3,33,541 candidates (16.20%) were absent in both shifts.
