JEE Main Dress Code 2024: NTA Session 2 Exam Guidelines for Male and Female Candidates, Get More Details

JEE Main 2024 Session 2 dress code has been prescribed by the National Testing Agency. Students appearing for the JEE Main 2024 session 2 exams must follow the dress code and guidelines provided.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam Dress Code: The National Testing Agency will begin the JEE Main Session 2 exams tomorrow, April 4, 2024. The JEE Main Session 2 exams will be held from April 4 to 12, 2024. The exams will be held in 2 shifts across designated exam centres. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2024 exams can check here the exam day guidelines, and dress code for female and male students appearing for the exams. 

JEE Main Session 2 exams will begin with Paper 1 BTech and BE Exams. The exams will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates appearing for the exams must make sure to carry their admit card and a valid ID proof with them to the exam centre. Students are advised to report to the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. 

NTA has issued a dress code for the JEE Main candidates. Students appearing for the exams must make sure to follow the dress code as prescribed. 

JEE Main 2024 Dress Code

The National Testing Agency has issued the dress code to be followed by students appearing for the JEE Main 2024 exams. Students can check the dress code details here. 

  • Candidates are advised to wear loose-fitting clothes without pockets.
  • Metalix embellishments are also not allowed  on the clothes
  • scarfs,  mufflers, stoles, shawls and other clothes covering the head are not allowed
  • Jewellery is not allowed
  • Students are advised to avoid wearing goggles, and other accessories on the exam day
  • Shoes are not allowed

JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates are required to carry their JEE Main 2024 admit card and a valid id proof with them
  • Candidates must reach the centre early to complete the id verification and frisking process
  • Phones, calculators, smart watches, bluetooth devices are not allowed inside the exam centre
  • Students should follow the dress code prescribed
