Haryana Winter Vacation: The Haryana state government has announced winter vacations for schools in the state. Schools will remain closed from January 1 to 15, 2024. The notification regarding the winter vacation was issued through an official Twitter post by the Chief Minister's Office.
According to the notification issued, winter vacation has been announced for all government and private schools in the state, schools will reopen from January 16, 2024. The chief minister's office has also requested schools to ensure the schedule is complied with.

Winter Vacations Across Different States
The Rajasthan Board has announced winter vacation in schools from December 25, 2023, onwards while Delhi schools have a shortened winter vacation due to the holiday announced in November. Winter vacation in Delhi schools will begin on January 1, 2024.
The Jharkhand state government has also announced winter vacation for all government and private schools. As per the notification released schools in Jharkhand will remain closed from December 26 to 31, 2023.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration is also reportedly considering winter vacation for schools due to the minimum temperatures dropping in the region below freezing point in the last three days. Authorities have however stated that a formal announcement is yet to be made but a vacation is being considered. A proposal for the same has also been submitted regarding the same.
