CBSE Exam Guidelines 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education will begin the CBSE 10th and 12th Examination today, February 15, 2024. The exams are scheduled to begin from 10:30 am onwards. Candidates can check exam day guidelines and details here.
Ahead of the exams, the board has issued an advisory for parents and students. Candidates appearing for the CBSE Exams are advised to report to the exam centre with their admit cards by 10 am. Considering the chance of delays due to traffic congestion, due to the farmers' protest, students in Delhi-NCR have been advised to leave for their examination centres early.
The advisory further states that students must leave their homes early so that they can arrive on time. The board further adds that students will not be allowed to enter the exam centre after 10 am. Candidates can check the advisory details below.

For the CBSE 2024 exams, approximately 39 lakh students are said to appear in India and abroad. Over 5 lakh students will be appearing for the CBSE exams from the capital city. CNSE is conducting the board exams across 877 exam centre in Delhi.
The CBSE hall ticket is a mandatory document to be carried by students appearing for the board exam. The admit card will include details like the candidate's name, registration number, exam schedule, exam centre details, and instructions.
The CBSE Exams will begin with the Painting, Gurung, Rai, Tamang, and Sherpa exams for CBSE class 10 students and the Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital Market Operation, and Physical Activity Trainer exams for the CBSE class 12 students.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Exam Day Guidelines

- Candidates appearing for the CBSE board exams must carry their 10th and 12th board exam admit cards and school ID with them
- Students are advised to reach the exam centre atleast before 10 am. Canddiates will not be allowed inside the exam centre after the said time.
- Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, etc are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Stationery required for exams must be carried by the individual candidates in a clear pouch
- Students appearing for the CBSE Exams in the later days are advised to visit their respective centres well in advance, plan their journey and make sure that they reach the centre before the scheduled time to avoid delays.

CBSE Board Exam Schedule
The CBSE board class 10 and class 12 exams will be held from February 15 to March 13 and April 2, 2024, respectively. Candidates are advised to cross-check the exam timing carefully before reporting to the exam centre. The CBSE class 10 and class 12 exams will be held in a single session from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
