DUSU Election 2024: Delhi University has begun voting for the DUSU taking place today. Phase 1 of voting commenced at 8:30 am and will continue until 1:00 PM for day classes. Phase of the DUSU election 2024 voting will be held for the evening shift students from 3 PM to 7:30 PM. Students from colleges affiliated with Delhi University are casting their votes to elect the next Students Union President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary.
It is expected that over 1.4 lakh students will be casting their votes for the DUSU elections today. A total of 21 students will be competing for the positions. Eight candidates will be fighting it out for the post of the DUSU 2024 President while five are up for the Vice-President post and four for the posts of Joint Secretary and Secretary posts.

DUSU Election 2024: Counting and Results
The Delhi High Court has barred the university from counting votes until they satisfy the court that all posters, hoardings, graffiti and other election campaign related materials have been removed and public property has been restored.
As per reports, Delhi HC Chief Justice designated Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela stated that the election process may proceed but counting will not take place until the court is satisfied that the defacement of property has been removed. Delhi University was scheduled to begin counting tomorrow, September 28, 2024.
