BHU SET 2021: Banaras Hindu University has released the official notification for the BHU School Entrance Test (BHU SET) 2021 for the Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School Admissions for classes 6, 9, and 11. The admissions are conducted through the Common entrance test. The applications for students are available on the official website of Banaras Hindu University. The last date for students to submit the applications is March 31, 2021.
According to the notification available on the official website, the students will be admitted to classes 6, 9, and 11 based on the marks secured by the students in the entrance test and the candidates will be allotted seats only on merit. The students who qualify will be required to attend the counseling process and the seats will be allotted in class/subject combination of their choice as per merit. The admissions to class 11 will be based on the chosen combination on the day of counselling.
BHU SET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Students appearing for class 6 entrance must have completed 10 to 12 years as of September 30, 2021, and must have passed class 5 examinations sommolarly students applying for class 9 must have completed 13 to 15 years of age as of September 30, 2021 and must have passed class 8 with minimum marks. Students applying for class 11 must have completed 18 years maximum as of September 30, 2021, and must have passed Class 10 board examinations from a recognized board or university.

External students applying for admissions through SET require a minimum of 60 percent marks and above in class 10 for the Science stream with 50 percent and above in Maths and Science each. 55 percent marks and above for commerce stream and passing marks for Arts stream.
Examination Schedule
The BHU SET 2021 exams for Class VI will be conducted on June 14, 2021, Class 9 exams will be conducted on June 15, 2021, Class XI Arts & Commerce exams will be conducted on June 16, 2021, Class XI Biology exams will be conducted on June 17, 2021, and Class XI Maths exams will be conducted on June 18, 2021. The exams will be conducted from 8 AM to 10 AM.
