Jaipur DISCOM to Recruit Accountant and Junior Accountant

Five Power Sector Companies of Rajasthan State -- Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JVVNL), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, RRV Prasaran Nigam Limited and RV Utpadan Nigam Limited -- engaged in Generation, Transmission & Distribution of Electricity invited online applications to fill up vacant posts of Accountant and Junior Accountant at their offices. The online application can be made till 28 September 2012.

Age limit (as on 28 September 2012):

Minimum - 18 years

Maximum- Not more than 35 years

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce from a govt. recognized University     OR
                                           CA/ICWA                         OR
MBA (Finance) from a govt. recognized University/ University approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/by the Distance Education Council (DEC) must be of minimum 2 years duration. It includes 2 years PG diploma in Business Management declared equivalent to MBA (Finance).

Pay Scale:

(Accountant): PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3600

(Jr. Accountant): PB-2 Rs.9300-34800) + Grade Pay Rs.3200

Emoluments/Salary:  Selected candidates would be appointed as Probationer Trainee for a period of two years, during which Accountant will get fixed remuneration of Rs.11100 per month and Jr. Accountant will get Rs.10000 per month.

On successful completion of the training, Accountant will get Rs.13830 and Jr.Accountant will get Rs.12500 (initial basic pay + grade pay) besides other allowances.

Fees: Non- refundable application fee has to be deposited in concerned Nigam’s Bank Account in any branch of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, through prescribed challan.

The candidates of SC/ST/BC/SBC (Creamy layer/Non-Creamy layer) belonging to other States than Rajasthan will be treated as Unreserved Category Candidates and accordingly such candidates will have to pay prescribed application fee of Rs. 500/- .

A Candidate who wants to apply for both the posts is required to deposit separate application fee for each post. However, a candidate can apply in one Company only for one post.

In the recruitment section open Notification titled “Vidyut Nigam Recruitment - 2012”. Take a print out of the “Fees Payment Challan”, fill it and deposit the prescribed application fee in any of the bank account of Nigam (mentioned in the notification) in any of the branch of the State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur and collect applicant's copy of the Challan.

Re-login to the Recruitment Page of the same website and select "Online Application for Vidyut Nigam Recruitment - 2012". Fill in the form along with details of the Challan, upload scanned photograph & signature and submit the application.

•    The candidate should choose carefully name of the company, in which he/she wish to apply.  No second option will be provided to change the Company.

•    Candidates should have a valid personal email ID as call letters for written test, verification of documents etc might be done through the registered email ID.

•    Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written test.

•    The printout of online application will have to be submitted along with the attested copies of other certificates /documents, as applicable, at the time of document verification.

•    Candidates should keep a copy of the print out of online application and fee payment challan for reference.
Selection Procedure: A common written competitive exam would be conducted separately for the posts of Accountant and Jr. Accountant. The exam will, however, be common for all the 5 Power Sector Companies, as such, a candidate can appear in exam for one post for only one Company.
