WB Madhyamik Exam 2024 Board Introduces Online Mark Submission For All Subjects, Check Details Here

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has introduced a provision to submit the exam marks online to enhance efficiency. Instructional videos regarding the submission of marks will be released by the board soon.

WB Online MArks Submission: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) introduces a provision to submit marks online. According to the latest reports, the board has asked all head examiners of the WB Madhyamik exams to submit the marks online. The provision has been introduced to enhance efficiency. This is in addition to the existing method of submitting the WB class 10 exam marks through ICR and OMR marks foils. 

Online Verification 

West Bengal Board conducted the WB Madhyamik exams from February 2 to 12, 2024. The board had earlier partially introduced online verification last year and for the 2024 exams, the board is taking it a step forward to streamline the submission procedure. 

The board stated that transitioning into a new system may pose a few hurdles which is why it is encouraged to get the required assistance from scrutineers. Schools can enlist the support of 4 to 5 scrutineers suitable in helping to navigate the online marks submission process effectively in due time. 

A detailed video demonstration to familiarize students the head examiners with the mark submission process will also be provided. Authorities will also be notified of the same as soon as the video is available. 

Measures Taken By the Board

The state board has issued guidelines to be followed to maintain the standards of security and confidentiality in handling the allotted packers of the written answer scripts. Safe handling of answer sheets during transit, secure storage, confidentiality, non-evaluation of answer sheets in public spaces, and submission of answer scripts are the measures suggested by the board. Officials were also instructed to preserve the CCTV footage of exam days until the WB 10th result 2024 is announced.
