WB MAdhyamik Exam 2024: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBS) has instructed all the West Bengal board exam centre supervisors to save the CCTV footage of the exam day. The order has been issued to maintain security and fairness throughout the exam.
According to the statement issued, all West Bengal Board exam 2024 centres must preserve the CCTV footage for each day of the class 10 WB Board exam until the publication of the results, the order further states that it is essential to maintain the standard of security, transparency, and fairness throughout the examination.
West Bengal Board officials will be conducting the Class 10 Madhyamik exams in February 2024. According to the detailed schedule released, the WB Madhyamik exam 2024 will be held from February 16 to 29, 2024. The exam will be held under CCTV surveillance which will be recorded from 8 am to 5 pm.
The board notification further states that the school and exam centre authorities must make sure that the CCTV cameras have enough storage capacity to rain the footage until the declaration of the results. The order issued instructs authorities to complement only reliable backup procedures to prevent any data loss due to technical issues. The access also must be authorities only to authorised personnel.
The CCTV recordings will be kept with the heads of the institutions. This is crucial for effective monitoring of the exams and resolving any incidents that may occur during the exam.
