UP Board Result 2020: The Uttar Ptradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parisha has postponed the checking of the UP Board 2020 answer scripts due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the state. As per media reports, the evaluation of the UP Board exam 2020 answer scripts have been postponed until 2nd April and the same will be resumed from 3rd April 2020 onwards. This is likely to effect the declaration of the UP Board 2020 results on the previously determined date.
According to the reports, Around 600 examiners were absent on the 2nd day of evaluation of the UP Board 2020 answer scripts in Meerut and 53000 copies were screened at the five designated evaluation centres - SD Sadar, St. Joseph, GIC, Ram Sahai Inter College and KK Inter College. Arrangements were made in the evaluation centres and preventive measures were being taken. Each of the examiner was made to sit at a distance of a metre away from another as per the mandate by WHO to prevent the novel Coronavirus from spreading.
Also, all the UP Board evaluation centres are under the surveillance and are being monitored from the live control room at GIC. In addition to this, on Tuesday, District School Inspector inspected Government Inter College, SD Sadar and St. Joseph Inter College to ensure all the mandates were being observed. The UPMSP had earlier stated that the Board will declare the Class 10 and 12 results 2020 by the last week April. Deputy Chief Minister of UP, Dinesh Sharma had made a statement that the Board will announce the results by 24th April 2020.
