UP School Reopening: With COVID-19 situation in the 3rd Wave still quite worrisome, the Uttar Pradesh State Government has ordered extension in the closure of UP Schools for another two weeks. As per the latest update, the Uttar Pradesh State Government has asked schools to remain closed for any offline classes and learning activities, online classes are to continue for all the students to ensure academic continuity. Earlier, schools were ordered to remain closed until 30th January 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic; the same has now been extended by another fortnight until 15th February 2022.

As per the details shared in media reports, the decision to keep schools closed in Uttar Pradesh until 15th February 2022 has been confirmed by the UP Additional Chief Secretary home Avanish Awasthi. In a statement issued to media, Mr Awasthi said that “the closure of schools has been extended from 30th January to 15th February 2022.
UP Board 10th and 12th Exam 2022 after 10th March
With schools closed due to COVID-19, several concerns has risen about the upcoming UP Board Exam 2022 for high school and intermediate class students. As of now, no clear communication is available from either the UP government or UPMSP – Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad about the upcoming Board Exams. Tentative reports have hinted that UPMSP plans to hold UP Board 10th and 12th Exam 2022 after 10th March 2022 after the conclusion of UP State Assembly Elections 2022. The state will go to poll in seven phases from 10th February to 7th March 2022.
