UP government launched scheme to turn primary schools into 'motivational schools'

Uttar Pradesh state government has launched the ‘Prerak Mission’ changing the image of the schools in Uttar Pradesh within the next six months. The ‘Prerak Mission will aim to increase the efficiency of the students in the Primary Schools in the state.

With an aim to increase the efficiency of the students in Primary Schools, the Uttar Pradesh state government has launched the ‘Prerak Mission’ changing the image of the schools in Uttar Pradesh within the next six months. The ‘Prerak Mission’ launched will be conducted at every primary school in the state and every district will have one motivational school. 

Efficiency of students to be analyzed

The third-party institution set by the state government will be checking the efficiency of the children of the primary schools and once the investigation of the institution will be completed the school will be named ‘motivational schools’  of the district. 

As per the Basic Shiksha Adhikari Lucknow, Dinesh Kumar, one school from every block will be developed as a motivational school within a few months, every school of the block will be developed into motivational primary schools. He further added that every primary school in the district will slowly be developed into motivational schools. In order to increase the skills of the children in Mathematics and languages from Primary Schools, ‘’Prerna Gyanotsav Abhiyan’ will be started by the government.

Enhance basic skills of students

The campaign will also help in enhancing the basic learning skills for children and also increase the efficiency of the children who could not continue their online classes during the lockdown. As per the instructions issued by Additional Chief Secretary Renuka Kumar, the teachers are required to check the skills of the students at certain points under which the efficiency of the students from classes 1 to 3 will be identified on 14 points while the efficiency of the students of classes 4 and 5 will be identified on 16 points. 

After the teachers from the primary schools declare the schools as motivational schools, the third party institutions will examine the efficiency of the students.
