UP Board Exam 2022 Update: With UP 10th and 12th Class Exam 2022 beginning soon, the UP Government has decided to make the journey of the students to and from the exam centre convenient. In this regard, the state administration has directed UPSRTC – the state bus transporter, to run special buses to ferry students who are due to appear for High School and Intermediate Board Exams 2022. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will ply exam special buses in each district from 24th March 2022, i.e., the start of the UP Board Exam 2022 for Class 10 and 12 students.
Order Passed by UP Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra
The order directing UPSRTC to ply exam special buses in each district was issued by state chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra recently. Mr Mishra chaired a meeting to review the state’s preparedness for the UPMSP Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exam via video conferencing. In this meeting, it was decided that officials concerned with public transport also ensure smooth arrangements for commuting of the students to the examination centres during the Board exams.
UPSRTC Staff to Assist Students during UP Board Exam 2022
According to estimates shared by UPMSP, a total of 51.9 lakh students are slated to appear for UP Board High School and Intermediate Exams from 24th March 2022. UP Board 10th and 12th Class Exam 2022 are taking place after nearly a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to this, several students might be anxious or worried about appearing for the same. To help these students and assist them in reaching their exam centres in a safe and convenient manner, the state administration has directed UPSRTC to direct its staff to help them.
52 Lakh Students to Appear for High School, Intermediate Exams
According to the details shared by UPMSP, a total of 51,92,689 students are due to appear for UP Board Exam 2022. Of the total number, 27,81,654 high school students will be appearing for UP Board 10th Exam 2022, while the rest 24,11,035 are intermediate students who will be appearing for UP Board 12th Exam 2022. To ensure smooth and fair conduct of the UPMSP Board Exam, the Board has set up 8,373 exam centres across the state. Some of the key highlights about UP Board Exam 2022 can be found below:

Helpline and Complaint Numbers to be Displayed at Exam Centers
Another key decision that was taken at the review meeting chaired by State Chief Secretary was to provide students helpline numbers where they can reach out in case of any concerns or problems. The Secondary Education Department of UP Government has been directed to helpline numbers, Twitter handles, Facebook pages and dedicated e-mail IDs of the department be prominently displayed outside each exam centre where students can reach out in case of any problem.
On similar lines, UP Board has also issued a toll-free number 18001805310 and 18001805312, where high school and intermediate students can call in to get any help related to board exams. This helpline would remain active from 8 AM to 8 PM and managed by subject matter experts, confirmed UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla.
