Telangana School Holidays 2024: Telangana government has announced the closure of educational institutions in the Mulugu district due to Medaram Jatara. Schools and colleges shall remain closed on February 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2024 owing to the popular trade fair in South India. As per the latest updates, the District Collector of Mulugu district has issued a notification announcing Telangana School Holidays 2024 in all private and government schools for four days because of the largest tribal fair in Asia.
Special Trains, Helicopter Operational from Feb 21-24
Union Minister for Tourism and Culture has scheduled special trains from February 21 to 24, 2024 to help people travel from various regions of Telangana to the Mulugu District.
The department has also introduced helicopter services for pilgrims to attend the Medaram Maha Jatara festival. Thumbi Aviation, a Bengaluru-based company, runs the helicopter services (launched on February 17, 2024).
Bihar School Timings Revised
Meanwhile, the Bihar Education Department has changed the school timings in the state. The timings have been modified as per the assurance of the state chief minister Nitisth Kumar regarding the curtailment of school duration As per the statement made by the CM, the existing 8-hour school duration has been reduced to six hours. Thus, schools in Bihar will now be operational from 10 am to 4 pm.
