Madhya Pradesh School Reopening: Schools to reopen for Classes 11, 12 from today onwards

Madhya Pradesh to reopen schools in the state for the class 11 and 12 students from today onwards. Schools will follow a 50 percent attendance considering the COVID-19 situation in the state. Check complete details here.

MP School Reopening

Madhya Pradesh State government will be resuming offline classes for the students from today - July 26, 2021. According to media reports, the classes will be resuming for the students from classes 11 and 12. The classes for the students of classes 9 and 10 will be resuming from August 5, 2021, onwards. 

50 percent attendance

According to reports, the offline classes will be conducted in the school premises with 50 percent attendance and virtual classes will also be conducted along with the offline classes to continue the teaching-learning process.

According to the Standard Operating Procedures issued by the Madhya Pradesh state government, the classes will be conducted twice a week for the students from classes 11 and 12. As per reports, the classes for the students of class 11 will be conducted on Tuesday and Friday while the class 12 students will attend classes on Monday and Thursday. Gathering of students for morning assemblies and swimming lessons will not be permitted.

Teaching Non-Teaching Staff to be vaccinated

The District Collectors and Chief Medical and Health Officers have been directed by Chief secretary Iqbal Singh Bains to vaccinate the teachers and non-teaching staff members of the schools and colleges under the Department of Higher Education and School Education from July 26 to 31, 2021. Vaccination campaigns will also be conducted from 9 AM to 5 PM on a particular date selecting colleges with facilities in the district headquarters and development blocks. 

It has also been stated that the first and second dose vaccinations will be administered to the teachers and employees of all the government and non-government colleges and schools which also include the Tribal Welfare Department.
