School Reopening News: As per the latest update, the Press Information Bureau has bust a fake notice that had gone viral, claiming that the government was planning to close down schools and colleges across the country again. PIB issued an advisory clarifying that MHA has issued no such notice and infact the notice that is being circulated on social media is morphed to look like an official notice.

 

Fake Notice Busted on Twitter

PIB took to twitter to bust the fake notice being circulated online and issued a tweet saying that “Claim :- some #Morphed It is being claimed in the photographs that the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an order to re-close the schools and colleges.” The tweet further adds that “PIBFactCheck:- This claim is fake. The Home Ministry has not issued any such order related to the closure of school-colleges.”

Plans to Reopen Schools for Students of All Classes

Earlier, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ while interacting with students of Kendriya Vihdyalayas had said that the government has directed the officials to come-up with plans to resume regular face-to-face classes for students of all classes. In the live webinar that was streamed like on the social media pages of the minister, Mr Pokhriyal said that the Government is deciding on ways how to reopen schools for all classes for face-to-face learning. Mr Pokhriyal during the webinar also said that schools will resume offline classes soon for all the classes soon. The minister however stated, along with the offline classes, online classes will still be continued.
