Schools in several districts of Andhra Pradesh have been given a holiday due to heavy rains. Places like Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore, Prakasam and Annamaiya have been receiving heavy rainfall under low pressure.
As per reports, a circulation formed in the Bay of Bengal turned into a low pressure because of which, many districts of AP have been receiving heavy rains. Due to the effect of low pressure, the districts of Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore and Prakasam districts have been receiving heavy rainfall. As per weather reports, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in the state until Thursday.
Districts of Bapatla, Cheerala, Vettapalem, Chinaganjam, Karanchedu, Parchur, Martur, Inkollu, Kollur, Vemuru, Addanki, Yaddanapudi, J. Panguluru, Ballikurava, Nizampatnam, Kartapalem. Machilipatnam, Uyyur and Avanigadda of Krishna have also been experiencing heavy rain with waterlogging in several places.
