PSEB Class 10 12 Exams postponed: Punjab School Education Board has revised the PSEB Class 10 and 12 Board examination schedule. The decision to delay the Punjab Board examinations was taken considering the rising COVID-19 cases in the state. Candidates appearing for the Punjab Board class 10 and 12 examinations can visit the official website of the board to check the complete revised schedule.
PSEB Board Examinations Official Schedule
The PSEB class 10 examinations were earlier scheduled to commence from April 9, 2021, but according to the revised schedule, the examinations are scheduled to commence from May 4, 2021. The Class 12 examinations were scheduled to begin from March 22, 2021, but will now commence from April 20, 2021.
As per reports, roughly 6.40 lakh candidates are scheduled to appear for the Punjab Class 10 and 12 board examinations. Punjab School Education Board Controller Janak Raj stated that the examinations will be conducted for a duration of 4 hours from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Punjab COVID-19 Cases
Punjab has seen an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the past few days. The state has reported close to 1429 COVID-19 cases as of March 115, 2021 taking the total of Active COVID-19 cases in the state to 11550. Punjab has seen a total of 197755 cases with 20 deaths on March 15, 2021. The state is also reporting a weekly increase of 3149 cases.
