Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024: The Ministry of Education (MoE) organised a nationwide painting competition to help students cope with examination stress. The event was conducted on January 23, 2024, which saw the participation of over 60,000 students across the country. This unique initiative was themed around exam mantras from the Book Exam Warriors, written by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
The mega event was organised in 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), in 774 districts across the country. The competition took place on January 23 which is observed as ‘Parakram Diwas’, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. This massive event aimed to inspire students about the life of a great leader and instill in them a spirit of patriotism. This inspirational message was also a theme of the painting competition.
The Ministry also planned various activities to encourage the creativity of students. Activities like the marathon run, music competition, meme competition, Nukkad Natak, poster making, and Yoga-cum-meditation sessions were organised from January 12 (National Youth Day) to January 23, 2024 (Parakram Diwas). The initiative saw a great response from both students and teachers.
When Is Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024?
The seventh edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 is set to take place on January 29, 2024. Students, teachers, and parents will have the opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister at Bharat Manadapam, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The event is expected to begin from 11 am onwards. The event will be live-streamed on Doordarshan through DD National, DD News, DD India, and major private channels.

According to the official notification, over 2.2 crore students registered for the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 on the MyGov portal. Nearly 3000 students are expected to interact with PM Modi during the event. During the PPC event, PM Modi will share tips with students on how to crack board exams in a stress-free manner.
Invitations to 2 students and a teacher from each of the states and UTs have been sent out. Additionally, winners of the Kala Utsav have been invited as special guests for the main event. 100 students from the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) from different parts of the country will be attending the event for the first time since inception.
