Odisha School Uniform New: The newly established BJP government has modified the colour of school uniforms for class 9 and 10 students (in government and aided schools). As per the new order, the fresh uniforms will be light brown, chocolate, and clay-baked yellow.
Presently, the Odisha school uniforms are green and white, similar to the Biju Janata Dal, BJD’s party symbol. In a letter to the Director of Secondary Education, the School and Mass Education department directed that secondary school students will now have new uniforms.
The new Odisha dress code will be made available exclusively in schools where the current student uniforms, as per the established colour scheme, have not yet been sewn or handed out, as stated in the department's letter.
The authorities have changed the colour of the new uniforms under the 'Mukhyamantri Chhatra Chhatri Paridhan Yojana'.
