JEE Main January 27 Exam Day: : JEE Mains 2024 first BTech/BE exams begin today, January 27, 2024. The exams will be held in two shifts. Students appearing in the first shift of the exam are required to report to the exam centre by 8 am. Candidates are advised to carry their admit card, valid id proof and a passport size photograph with them to the exam centre. 

To download the JEE Mains 2024 session 1 exam hall ticket eligible candidates are required to visit the official website and log in using the required credentials. It must also be noted that the JEE Main admit card will be available in online mode only.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The hall ticket for the first exam of JEE Main includes the candidate details along with the instructions to be followed by students on the exam day. Follow the guidelines given here.

  • Admit card and valid ID proof a mandatory documents to be carried to the exam date.
  • Students are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exams
  • Students must make sure that they report to the centre only for the shift allotted as per the admit card
  • Candidates reaching the exam centre 15 minutes later to the commencement of the exam will not be allowed to enter.
  • Those allotted centre far away are advised to make travel arrangements to reach the previous day itself so as to not miss the exam
  • Students will not be allowed to leave the centre without finishing the exam

JEE Main Session 1 Exam List of Prohibited Items

JEE Main exams will be conducted in the online mode. The following items are barred on the exam day and candidates are advised against carrying the same to the exam centre.

  • Students are not allowed to carry any electronic devices with them
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry log books, graphs, or calculators into the exam hall
  • Any other documents apart from the JEE Mains admit card and the photo ID will not be allowed
  • Materials for rough work will be provided inside the exam hall
