NEET UG SC Hearing 2024: As per the latest update, the Supreme Court will be hearing the NEET UG result petitions tomorrow. The Chief Justice of India has asked experts from IIT Delhi to share the qight answers to questions from the physics section which was brought up during the hearing. IIT Delhi has been asked to constitute an expert team of the concerned subjects to formulate the opinion of the correct option and remit the option to the registrar by 12 noon tomorrow.
The fourth session of hearing of the NEET UG results began in the Supreme Court at 10:30 am today, July 22, 2024. While a majority of the claims talked about how there was paper leak before the exams, the petition counsel argued about re-test for NEET or at least conducting a NEET re-test for only those candidates who have qualified the NEET UG exams with the minimum required marks of 164 out of 720.

According to the results announced over 11,000 candidates scored zero or negative marks in the exams while the lowest mark scored by a candidate in the exam was -180 from a centre in Bihar.
As per the latest updates, NTA has filed an additional affidavit in the apex court regarding the NEET UG matter. NTA has refused the allegations of conflict of interest on the part of the IIT Madras director who prepared the data analytics reports which was also questioned during the last hearing.

NEET UG Results 2024 State and Centre Wise: Gujarat Results
According to the state-wise and centre-wise results issued by NTA on July 20, 2024, a student in Gujarat has secured 705 out of 720 marks. This however has become news as the same student failed in their class 12 Gujarat board exams.

Counselling 2024
As per the previous hearing on the NEET UG exams, the Medical Counselling Committee is expected to begin the NEET UG counselling 2024 registration and application process from July 24, 2024, onwards. Students who have cleared their NEET UG exams can apply for counselling for All India Quota seats across the country.
