NEET UG 2024 Merit List Revised

As per the Supreme Court order issued, the National Testing Agency will be revising the NEET UG merit list based on the answer suggested by the expert panel of IIT Delhi on the controversial NEET UG Physics question-answer option.

Based on the objections submitted by students on the provisional answer sheets released, the NTA had earlier considered both options correct and granted four marks to those who marked one of the two correct choices.

In the revised merit list. only those candidates who have marked the correct answer as per the suggestion of the committee will be awarded four marks. As per data available over 4 lakh students who answered the question as per the old NCERT textbook will lose five marks instead which will lead to a reshuffling in the ranks.
