NEET Registration 2024: The registration process for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2024 will end on March 16, 2024. Eligible NEET aspirants can visit the official website - neet.nta.nic.in to complete the application process. The NEET UG 2024 entrance examination is scheduled for May 5, 2024.

According to media reports, more than 25 lakh have already registered for the NEET 2024 Exam till March 9, 2024. The total number of NEET registrations was 20.87 lakh in 2023. Director General, NTA, Subodh Kumar Singh stated that Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan have received the highest number of NEET 2024 applications. 

Candidates will be informed about the NEET Admit Card and NEET Result 2024 date by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates are advised to carefully go through the NEET application form 2024 as it may get rejected even if a slight error is detected. NEET 2024: Female Candidates Registration

As per reports, over 12 lakh female candidates have registered for the NEET 2024 exam so far. Meanwhile, nearly 10 lakh male candidates have applied for the exam. NTA DG also mentioned that Delhi is the top exam city choice for candidates. About 65,809 candidates have opted for Delhi as their first preference whereas, Patna and Jaipur stand as second and third city choices. 

NEET UG 2024: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the general category are required to pay Rs 1700 while EWS and OBC categories have to pay Rs 1600 as the NEET registration fee. Moreover, those belonging to the SC, ST, PwD, and third gender categories will be required to pay Rs 1000 for the registration process.
