NEET UG Preparation Tips
Begin with Knowing Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Aspirants must understand the NEET exam pattern and the chapter-wise weightage in the NEET UG exam. This should be followed by preparing a period-wise schedule to cover all the chapters, followed by revision sessions. They must complete the chapters carrying maximum weightage in the exam first, followed by the chapters that carry relatively lower significance.
Get Hands Over Best Books
As per experts, candidates must start preparing for NEET exams from NCERT books as a major part of the NEET question paper comes directly from NCERT. It will clear the concepts and it is easier for you to understand. Apart from experts, NEET toppers also refer to these books - such as Objective physics by DC Pandey, NCERT at your fingertips by MTG, Problems in Physical Chemistry by Narendra Awasthi, Organic Chemistry by MS Chauhan, Trueman’s Elementary Biology and Dr Ali for Biology.
Revision and Mock Tests
Students should solve previous year's papers and mock tests. It will help them to get familiar with the marking scheme, exam pattern, question format and level of questions. Solving questions from last year's papers and mock tests will help you manage time effectively as candidates will have 180 minutes to solve the questions in the examination. The more candidates revise their syllabus, the better they will be able to score better in the NEET exam.
