NEET Result 2021: As per the media updates, National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NEET 2021 result and final answer key soon. However, no official notification has been released as of now. After reviewing the objections, the final NEET answer key will be released. Based on that, the NEET result will be announced. The authorities have closed the window to raise objections to the provisional answer key of NEET 2021 yesterday on 17th October. The provisional answer key was released on 15th October. Now, it is expected that the NTA will soon announce the NEET result 2021 at neet.nta.nic.in later this month.
NEET 2021 Result Updates
As per the updates, the result will be computed based on the NTA NEET final answer key. A committee of NEET subject experts will now review the challenges made by the students and if found correct, the final answer key will be revised. There is no option to challenge the final answer key. Going as per trends, the result is usually released two weeks after the answer keys are released on neet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates will be able to check their results by using the login credentials on the official website. Along with the NEET result, the list of all-India toppers will be published. NEET results will be used by state and centrally-funded medical colleges for admitting students to undergraduate courses.
National Testing Agency (NTA)'s Statement
As per NTA, “Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.”
NEET 2021 Counselling
Candidates qualifying in the NEET entrance exam will be eligible to attend the counselling round. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct all India quota MBBS and BDS counselling. States have their counselling committees to fill 85% of seats that are under them. NEET-UG counselling 2021 will be held for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and BSc Nursing courses.
