Jharkhand state government has decided to reopen the colleges in the state from March 1, 2021. The decision to reopen the colleges in the colleges in Jharkhand was taken in a meeting conducted by State Chief Minister Hemant Soren along with the Jharkhand State Disaster Management Authority. The state chief minister has also allowed the reopening of ITI Training from February 25, 2021, onwards since students will have to write the examinations.
The state government will also be reopening the schools for the students from class 8 and above. The students will be allowed to enter the school premises only with the consent of their parents while the state government has also allowed the state universities to work as per the guidelines of the UGC.
The government has also issued standard operating procedures for the schools and colleges by which the students, teachers, and non-teaching staff are required to main social distancing in the schools or colleges premises. The students and staff members will also have to wear face masks all day during the classes mandatory.
Classes for the students from classes 10 and 12 have also reopened in December 2020 in the state which was also decided after a review meeting was conducted with the Disaster Management Department. The dental and medical colleges along with the nursing colleges were also allowed to reopen in the state along with the government training institutes.
JAC Board Examinations 2021
Jharkhand Academic Council has also released the JAC Board Examination 2021 date sheet for the students from classes 10 and 12. The examinations, according to the dates given, will begin from May 4, 2021, and continue until May 21, 2021. The Class 10 Jharkhand Board examination will be conducted from 9:45 AM to 1 PM while the Class 12 JAC board examinations will be conducted from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.
