Jharkhand NMMS 2023 Exam Date: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023 exam date. The Jharkhand NMMS will now be conducted on February 11 which was previously scheduled on December 17, 2023. Students studying in Class 8 are eligible for the NMMS Jharkhand NMMS exam 2023-24.
The admit card for the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 will be issued on February 4, 2024. Eligible candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website - jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Students are required to use their login credentials generated during registration to access the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 admit card.
The Jharkhand NMMS scholarship aims to provide Rs 12,000 as financial aid per year to selected students of Classes 9 to 12. This scholarship is not available to students attending private schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, or Sainik schools.

Jharkhand NMMS 2023: Exam Pattern
The Jharkhand NMMS 2023–24 examination will be divided into two sections: the Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) and the Mental Ability Test (MAT).
The SAT comprises 90 multiple-choice questions including Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics that are covered in Classes 7 and 8.
Meanwhile, the MAT section comprises 90 multiple-choice questions to evaluate both verbal and nonverbal metacognitive skills like reasoning and critical thinking. Students can expect questions based on analogies, classification, numerical series, pattern recognition, and similar topics.

To pass the Jharkhand NMMS 2023 examination, candidates must score at least 40% overall on both the MAT and the SAT. Students who belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Scheduled Caste (SC) category must score at least 32% in the examination.
