The JEE Main 2025 exam is going to start from tomorrow, January 22, 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the guidelines for the exam, with approximately 13.8 lakh students registered for Session 1. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025. There will be two shifts:
- First shift: 9 am to 12 pm
- Second shift: 3 pm to 6 pm
Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and both papers (for B.Arch and B.Planning) will be conducted on January 30, 2025, from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.

General Guidelines for JEE Main 2025 Dress Code
The dress code focuses on comfort and security. Candidates should avoid the listed items that might cause security issues. Check out the list below:
For Female Candidates:
- Wear simple, comfortable clothes.
- Do not wear jewelry or metallic items.
- Avoid wearing stoles, scarves, or any clothing that could delay security checks.
- No heavy accessories or goggles.
For Male Candidates:
- Wear lightweight, breathable clothes.
- Avoid clothes with metallic parts (e.g., buckles, decorations).
- Do not wear caps, mufflers, or head coverings.
- No jewelry (chains, bracelets, rings).
- Choose simple sandals or slippers (avoid thick-soled shoes).

Dos and Don’ts for JEE Main Exam Day

Dos:
- Be at the center at least 2 hours before the exam.
- Go to your assigned seat as soon as the exam hall opens.

- Carry an original, valid photo ID.
