JEE Main 2021: Final Decision on remaining sessions to be made soon

Final decision regarding the JEE Main 2021 April and May session is expected to be made soon by the officials. The revised schedule of the examination will be declared on the official website of NTA soon.

JEE Main April-May Session 2021: With the decision regarding the remaining two JEE Main 2021 sessions expected to be announced by the Education ministry soon, the students are now looking forward to the exam dates and updates of the final two sessions of the national level entrance examinations.

Considering the current pandemic situation and also considering the safety and well-being of the students, the National Testing Agency had decided to postpone the JEE Main 2021 examinations for the April and May sessions. The April May session JEE Main exam postponement was announced on April 18 and May 4, 2021, and the revised schedule was expected to be announced later. 

JEE Main 2021 Examination Sessions

The National Testing Agency had earlier announced that the JEE Main 2021 exams will be conducted in four sessions this year. The first session of the JEE Main 2021 examinations was conducted from February 23 to 26, 2021 with roughly 6,61,776 students appearing for the exams. The second session of the examination was conducted from March 15 to 18, 2021 with a total of 6,19,638 candidates appearing for the exams.

The third and fourth sessions of the exams were scheduled to be conducted in April and May 2021 which have been postponed. According to the notification issued by the National Testing Agency, the revised dates of the postponed examinations will be announced at least 15 days prior to the examinations. 

With the announcement made by the CBSE regarding the cancellation of the class 12 board examinations, the schedule for the subsequent JEE Main 2021 exams is expected to be decided by the Education Ministry soon.
