The entrance exam is set to take place on May 25.
IISER application 2025: Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025, candidates must have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) in the science stream, meeting the following criteria:
- General category: Minimum 60% marks
- SC/ST/PwD candidates: Minimum 55% marks
Each applicant must complete a separate application form based on their eligibility pathway.

IISER application 2025: Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 will challenge students with 60 multiple-choice questions, covering four subjects:
- Biology - 15 questions
- Chemistry - 15 questions
- Mathematics - 15 questions
- Physics - 15 questions
Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam.
IISER application 2025: Marking Scheme
- +4 marks for every correct answer
- -1 mark for every incorrect answer
- 0 marks for unanswered questions
The maximum possible score in IAT 2025 will be 240 marks.
