IGNOU PhD Admission 2021: As per the updates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of registration for IGNOU PhD admission 2021. Now, the candidates can fill the PhD entrance exam form till 30th December in online mode. Also, they can pay the application fees till 31st December. To apply for IGNOU PhD Admission 2021, candidates will have to visit the official website - ignou.nta.ac.in.

The University has extended the IGNOU application deadline after receiving requests from students. Accordingly, the dates for correcting particulars in application forms have also been revised. As per the last notice released, the IGNOU PhD admission entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on 16th January 2022.

How To Register for IGNOU PhD Admission 2021?

The entrance exam registration form of IGNOU PhD is available till 30th December. To fill the form, candidates will also have to pay the fee of Rs 1000 ((UR)/OBC-(NCL)/General EWS category), whereas Rs 800 is applicable to candidates from the Third Gender/SC/ST/PwD category. • Step 1 - Go to the official website of NTA IGNOU - ignou.nta.ac.in.
• Step 2 - On the homepage, click on “IGNOU PhD Registration 2021”.
• Step 3 - Fill in the online application form by entering all the details.
• Step 4 - Upload the documents, pay the fee and submit.
• Step 5 - Take a print of the form for future reference.

IGNOU PhD Admission 2021 Application Correction Facility

As stated in the official notice, “Corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted and submission of additional fee (depending on the changes made in the form) upto 11:50 pm on 3 January 2022. The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates after the correction period.”

The authorities are yet to announce the date to release of IGNOU PhD entrance exam admit card. The details on exam city, venue etc. will be provided on the admit card. Candidates will have to carry their entrance exam admit card or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. IGNOU PhD Admission 2021 will be done on the basis of a test that will be held for a total duration of 180 minutes, from 10 am to 1 pm.
