HPBOSE Board Office Closed: As per the latest reports, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has decided to close down its office for next two days after 7 staff members from the office tested positive for COVID-19 infection. HP Board Office will remain closed on Thursday and Friday and is expected to resume its operations against from 28th November – Saturday.
The news about closure of HPBOSE Office was confirmed by HP Board President Suresh Kumar Soni. Mr Soni said that in the wake of 7 cases of Coronavirus infection being found on premises of HP Board, the Board’s office will remain closed for next two days. During the period of closure, the board is expected to get the complete premises and campus of the board’s office thoroughly sanitized to avoid any further spread of the contagion among the staff members and visitors.
Schools Closed until 31st December
After reopening Schools in the state for Class 9 to 12 students initially in November, the state government has decided to roll-back its decision in the wake of the rising number of COVID cases. According to an announcement made early last week, schools in the state will now remain closed until year-end i.e. 31st December 2020 due to the rising number of Coronavirus infections among students and teachers.
As part of the measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, the state government has also announced a slew of measures including imposition of night curfew in four key districts of the state. Details have confirmed that , night curfew will be in place from Tuesday to December 15 in Shimla, Mandi, Kangra and Kullu districts from 8 pm to 6 am, according to an announcement made by state’s Parliamentary affairs minister Suresh Bhardwaj said.
