Hindustan University Engineering Entrance Exam 2020: The important dates for HITSEEE 2020 have been released by the Hindustan University online. Candidates interested in applying for HITSEEE 2020 can visit the official website of Hindustan University - hindustanuniv.ac.in to check the details of events such as registration, entrance exam dates and counselling dates. In addition to this, the University has also released the eligibility criteria for admission, the exam pattern and procedure for seat allocation of HITSEEE 2020.
The registration process for HITSEEE 2020 is now open and candidates can apply for the same until 15th April 2020. HITSEEE 2020 will be conducted between 25th and 30th April 2020 for exam centres in Chennai while for other centres it will be conducted on 25th and 26th April 2020. Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will be called for the counselling process between 7th and 10th May 2020. HITSEEE 2020 will be conducted online as a computer-based test. The exam duration will be 2 hours and the questions will be of multiple choice type. There will be three parts to the question paper comprising questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates applying for HITSEEE 2020 are required to have completed (or complete) their Class 12 or qualifying exam from a recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (for B. Tech) and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology (for B. Tech Biotech). Candidates qualifying their Class 12 exam are also eligible to apply provided they have 50% aggregate marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical).
Counselling of the candidates who qualify in HITSEEE 2020 for the allocation of the course will be solely based on All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate in the entrance exam. The counselling of HITSEEE 2020 and selection will be held in the offline mode at the Hindustan Admission Office, Chennai
