School Reopening in Haryana

School Reopening Process in Haryana State has been a bitter-sweet process. Initially, Haryana government became one of the first state governments in the country to allow reopening of schools for Class 9 to 12 students in September 2020. However, soon after reopening, over 150 students from three districts of Haryana i.e. Rewari, Jind and Jhajjar -- had tested positive for coronavirus in November after which all the schools were shut till further orders. In mid-December, the schools had again reopened for the higher classes. With schools for upper primary class students being opened soon, the state government is planning to be extra cautious about the process.
