Haryana School Reopening News: As per the latest media reports, Schools in Haryana for senior classes are all set to open from next week. Reports have confirmed that the state government has given its go-ahead for reopening of schools for Class 10 and 12 students, starting from 14th December 2020 onwards looking at the fast approaching examinations. As of now, the schools are being reopened only partially for students who are currently in their board classes. Notification states that classes for Grades 9 and 11 will commence from 21st December 2020.After reopening, the physical classes will be held for three hours daily -- between 10 AM to 1 PM, starting 14th December 2020.
COVID Negative Report Mandatory
As per the reports, the state government has made COVID negative report as mandatory criteria for attending the physical classes once they restart. Students are required to produce medical certificates not older than 72 hours to attend classes, as per a recent government circular.
Medical Colleges Reopened on 7th December
Earlier, Medical colleges in Haryana were reopened on – 7th December 2020, onwards after being shut for over 6 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research had earlier released a notification regarding the reopening of the medical colleges in the state. Similar to schools, the notification released for reopening of medical colleges also directed medical students in the state to carry their COVID-19 negative report which must not be beyond 72 hours before they report to colleges. The department has also asked the concerned colleges to help the students in getting the medical test.
