Schools Switch to Hybrid Mode: The School Education Department of Haryana has ordered all government and private schools in the state to conduct classes for students upto class 9 and class 11 in the hybrid mode until further notice. The order has been issued considering the air pollution crisis in the region.
The decision to conduct classes in the hybrid mode comes after the implementation of GRAP-IV restrictions to address the hazardous air quality levels in the NCR region.
The Commission for Air Quality Management has also issued a directive for all government and private schools in Faridabad and Gurugram to switch to hybrid mode. The statement mentions that all actions under GRAP-IV must be implemented with immediate effect by all agencies in the entire NCR.
All Heads of Schools of both government and private schools in Faridabad and Girigram districts of the state have been directed to conduct classes in hybrid mode until class 9 and class 11 with immediate effect until further orders.
School authorities have also been asked to pass the information to parents, and guardians of students in addition to the rules already being implemented under Stage 1 to Stage 3 of the revised GRAP schedule which were enforced in early December.
