GATE 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024, for 30 papers. Candidates going to appear in the forthcoming exams must keep all the important documents handy before the exam commencement. All the candidates must adhere to the exam day guidelines to avoid disqualification.
The GATE 2024 exam day guidelines include the protocols that the candidates have to follow before entering and after sitting in the examination hall. Candidates who fail to follow the do’s and don’ts may not be allowed to write the paper.
GATE 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
Applicants going to appear in the computer-based test must stick to the following instructions strictly:
- Candidates have to carry the GATE admit card 2024 and valid photo ID proof to the examination hall.
- Candidates have to report to the exam hall at least 90 minutes before the exam begins. They will not be allowed to log in 30 minutes after the exam starts.
- Candidates are permitted to log in and read the instructions 20 minutes before the exam begins.
- Aspirants must carry their own pen, pencil, transparent water bottle, mask, and other important things.
- Candidates should not bring any electronic device or prohibited items to the examination hall.
- Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 9:30 a.m., and no one will be permitted to leave the hall before the examination.
- Those who fail to adhere to the exam day guidelines to avoid disqualification from the exam.
