GATE 2024: Applications Open For MTech In Electrical Engineering, Results on March 16

GATE Result 2024: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will declare the result for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) on March 16, 2024. IISc has commenced the admission process for the MTech programme in Electrical Engineering for the academic session 2024-25. Interested candidates can apply for the IISc MTech EE admissions through the official website - admissions.iisc.ac.in.

Candidates must note that MTech admission will be given on the basis of the scores obtained in the GATE 2024 entrance examination. The GATE 2024 exam was held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. Before filling out the IISc MTech EE 2024 application form, interested candidates must go through the eligibility criteria mentioned by the institution.

Meanwhile, as per the selection process, candidates will be shortlisted for a technical interview on the basis of their GATE score. Steps To Apply For IISc MTech EE 2024

Eligible candidates can refer to the following steps to complete the IISc MTech EE 2024 application process.

Step 1: Visit the official website - admissions.iisc.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab and register using valid login credentials

Step 3: Fill out the application form including personal and educational qualifications

Step 4: Upload the required documents

Step 5: Pay the application fee to complete the registration process

Step 6: Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference 

IISc MTech EE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology or an equivalent degree in engineering
• Applicants must have a strong mathematical background and a valid GATE 2024 score in the Electrical Engineering discipline.

GATE 2024: IISc Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 800. Meanwhile, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will have to pay Rs 400 as the registration fee. ERP candidates of all categories will have to pay Rs 2,000 while the fee for sponsored candidates is Rs 800.
