GATE 2020 Application Correction Process Begins: IIT Delhi has started the online application correction process for GATE 2020 engineering entrance exam. As per the latest update available on the official website, candidates have been asked to make changes or correct mistakes in GATE 2020 application form which was submitted earlier by them. Candidates need to log onto the official exam portal of GATE 2020 exam i.e. gate.iitd.ac.in to make changes to their application form. Fields in Which Changes are Allowed

The official website of GATE 2020 i.e. gate.iitd.ac.in has put up a notification confirming the opening of application correction window. Along with it, the notification also states that during this window, candidates will be able to make changes to Examination City, Candidate Name, Father's Name, College Name etc. Earlier, from 28^th September 2019 to 5^th October 2019, IIT Delhi had started the application correction window for changes in other fields such as candidate name, parent details, address and other basic details. But during the on-going period, candidates will be able to make changes to the test city and select the test city that is more convenient for them to reach for GATE 2020 exam.

How to make changes to GATE 2020 Application Form

Just like the earlier application correction window, this time as well, IIT Delhi has made the application correction process available only online through official GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal. Candidates can follow the steps provided below to change their test city and make the necessary changes to their GATE 2020 application form.

• Step 1: Visit official GOAPS portal i.e. gate.iitd.ac.in
• Step 2: Find and Click on notification saying “To change Examination City, Candidate Name, Father's Name, College Name etc. Click Here’
• Step 3: You will be redirected to the GATE 2020 login page
• Step 4: Log onto the website using your login credentials
• Step 5: Find Link to Edit Application Form
• Step 6: Make the necessary changes to the application form
• Step 7: Verify and Submit the changed on the website
• Step 8: Take printout of the confirmation page for future reference

GATE 2020 is a postgraduate level engineering entrance exam that is held to screen candidates for admission to M.Tech programmes offered at IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other technology institutes. GATE 2020 will be conducted on february 1, 2, 8 and 9 in online mode across various test cities.
