Reopening of Schools Post Lockdown: Delhi Government has invited suggestions from all the stakeholders i.e. schools administrators, teachers and students, on reopening of schools post Coroanvirus lockdown. Best entries to get change to interact online with Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. With the nationwide lockdown coming to an end on 17th May 2020; the Delhi Government has already started considering the possibility of reopening of schools once the situation normalizes. Furthermore, considering the exceptional circumstances due to Coronavirus pandemic; the government has invited suggestions and ideas from all concerned stakeholders to help improve the academic processes in Delhi Schools post lockdown period.

The official statement issued by the Directorate of Education, Delhi Government says that “Respondents submitting practical and out of the box suggestions will be invited to share their thoughts with Education Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia through online platform.”

Students, Teachers, Parents and School Administrators and Principals can submit their ideas and suggestion with regards to the reopening of schools and the changes they would like to see in the academic process and learning processes followed in Delhi Schools. The ideas can be submitted in an online form provided on the Directorate of Education Website of Delhi Government.

Ideas Focused on Challenges and Opportunities in post COVID-19 Era

The central theme around which Delhi Government has invited suggestions is regarding the challenges and opportunities that lie before the academicians and students in the post Coronavirus era. With the lockdown and its impact already showing its impact on the academic calendar, students and teachers are invited to help government find solutions to these constraints that schools in Delhi face after their reopening.
