School Holiday December 2024: While November was a festive month for students with Diwali, Guru Nanak Jayanti and a bunch of school holidays announced taking into consideration the depleting AQI conditions, the month of December comes bearing vacation holidays.
Schools across the country will be closed for a few days in the month of December as part of Winter Vacations. Winter vacations are announced across a majority of the states in India, especially northern Indian states like UP, Bihar, Delhi, MP, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir etc. Vacations will begin anywhere between December 20 and 21 and will continue until News Years on January 2, 2025. Schools reopen on January 2 in the new year.

December 25, 2024, Thursday, will be a school holiday on the occasion of Christmas and December 31, 2024, will be a school holiday on the occasion of New Year's Eve.
