NEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025) exam date for admission to all 44 central institutions, state universities, and other participating universities is anticipated to be announced shortly by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC), proposed a number of modifications for CUET 2025.
Following last year's pattern, the CUET UG application form 2025 will be accessible on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/, in February. On February 27 of last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) opened registration for CUET UG, India's second-largest entrance exam. According to reports, the NTA is expected to hold the entrance exam in May, with the results announced in June.
CUET UG Exam 2025 Changed Guidelines
An expert panel reviewed the exam structure, number of papers, duration, syllabus, and logistics. After the review, the UGC chairman announced significant changes to the CUET exam. According to the new CUET UG exam pattern for 2025, the test will be computer-based and last 1 hour for all papers.
The number of subjects has been reduced from 67 to 37, including 23 domain subjects. Less popular subjects have been removed, and students now have the option to choose subjects not studied in Class 12.
